Grigory Evgenyevich Laiko is a talented director, born on February 26, 1987, in Stavropol, Russia. He began his professional education at the Stavropol Regional College of Arts, graduating in 2006 with a specialization in "Director of Cultural and Mass Events." In 2013, he completed his studies at the Acting Faculty of GITIS, earning the qualification of a puppet theater actor. His resume includes participation in numerous master classes and workshops, where he honed his skills in theater technologies and directing.
Grigory Laiko's creative career began as an actor at the Moscow Puppet Theater and the Moscow Operetta Theater. However, his true calling emerged in directing, where he created original productions that exemplify the integration of traditional puppet theater with modern artistic techniques. His performances, such as The Silver Hoof and The First Winter, have been recognized at international festivals, including the prestigious Big Children's Festival in Moscow.
