About the Performance:

«Diary of a Madman» is a contemporary stage interpretation of a classic literary work, a psychological production that explores the fragility and vulnerability of the human soul. Unable to accept the reality surrounding him, the protagonist retreats into a world of fantasy, where the boundaries between reality and illusion begin to disappear, and he comes to believe that he is the King of Spain.

While remaining faithful to the author's original vision, the director breathes new life into the work through expressive stage imagery, artistic set design, lighting, and sound. The performance invites audiences to reflect on human destiny and the true value of the inner self in a society dominated by material wealth and social status.
