About the Performance:
«Rain of stars» is a lyrical one-person show based on the life and artistic legacy of the renowned clown, mime, and writer Leonid Yengibarov. The production explores the contrasts between laughter and sorrow, joy and loneliness, art and life. Audiences are invited to discover the inner world of the man behind the stage persona and witness his emotional struggles as he searches for his true identity.
Directed by Olga Melnik, the performance features Kirill Karasov as its sole actor. Based on Leonid Yengibarov's lyrical prose miniatures, the production explores an artist's genuine emotions, love, fears, and hopes. Blending humour, pantomime, and poetry, the performance takes audiences on an emotional journey from laughter to profound empathy.
