From September 10 to 15, the State Puppet Theater in Almaty will host a week of eco-performances as part of the city's celebration of City Day, titled "Puppet Eco Fest." Throughout the week, young audiences will be treated to entertaining and educational performances that aim to foster environmental awareness, cleanliness, and a love for nature and their homeland.
In addition to embarking on exciting journeys into the world of fairy tales, spectators will have the opportunity to participate in quiz competitions about the history and landmarks of Almaty and win free tickets to the theater's performances. The festival will feature shows such as "The Incredible Adventures of Akbai," a captivating and touching story; "Remember, kids!" with interactive games; "Littlie house" and "Goat," which emphasize the importance of preserving nature; and "Thumbelina" and "The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats," highlighting themes of care and love for the environment.
The "Puppet Eco Fest" week invites residents and guests of Almaty, schoolchildren, preschoolers, as well as children from large and low-income families, and children with special needs.
